Arjuna Oakes

Arjuna Oakes is a New Zealand-born singer, songwriter, and producer based in London. His sound blends soul, jazz, neo-psychedelia, and cinematic elements. He rose to prominence with his 2019 debut EP The Watcher, earning acclaim from Gilles Peterson and Juno Records, and has since released seven EPs including collaborations with Serebii. As a composer he has worked with John Psathas and served as composer-in-residence for Orchestra Wellington. In London he has become a fixture in the music scene, headlining shows and hosting a Soho Radio residency.

I have been working with Arjuna for several years now, and it has been a real privilege to watch his growth up close. His 2025 debut album is an outstanding body of work, worth your time from start to finish. "Blame" leans into a driving groove that pulls you in straight away and keeps your head nodding the whole way through.
