Heartworms

Heartworms is the project of London-based artist Jojo Orme, building a stark, commanding sound that pulls from post-punk, gothic textures, and industrial rhythms. Her music leans into tension and restraint, driven by clipped beats, angular guitar lines, and a vocal delivery that feels both distant and direct. One of the more distinctive emerging voices coming out of the UK right now.

I found this through the EP A Comforting Notion. The debut album Glutton For Punishment is well worth your time.
