Sletta is a Norwegian-born, London-based artist blending neo soul, contemporary jazz and folk, shaped by her Nordic upbringing and her adopted city's vibrant music scene. Since her debut single "Take Your Time" in 2021 she has built steady momentum — her 2024 EP Sometimes We Have to Look Inward earned airplay on Jazz FM, and recent singles have featured on BBC Introducing Mixtape and the BBC Radio 2 Jazz Show, alongside headline shows at Servant Jazz Quarters and a sold-out debut at the EFG London Jazz Festival.
"Feel" explores the vulnerability of forming new connections — the uncertainty of early dating and the anxiety of opening up without knowing whether someone is truly invested. Her warm vocals ride an understated groove, with a key line drawn from the coastal imagery of her Norwegian hometown: "I've done it all before, half way from the shore, so unless it's all the way I'm not here to stay."
